    PET PUZZLE

I wonder what kind of a pet
Would be the best to get?
Please won't you be my guest
And help me pick the best?
A pet that's soft and furry,
With a voice that's low and "purry".
What kind of pet is that?
You're right if you said cat!
What about one with a beak
    That can squawk or squeak?
    Oh wouldn't it be neat
    to have a parakeet?
Or a pet that's super thin,
    With slithery scales for skin?
What kind of pet does this make?
    You're right if you guessed--snake!
    Or maybe a four-legged friend,
With a wagging tail at one end?
I could teach him to sit up--
    You're right, that's pet's a pup!
    Oh no, I can't decide
Which pet I want at my side.
Maybe I'll just pick all four!
And open my own pet store!
